AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14.204
AND 14.205 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE AS
THEY RELATE TO STOP AND YIELD RIGHT-
OF-WAY INTERSECTIONS
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois,
as follows:
Section 1: That Section 14.204, One Way and Two Way Stop Inter-
sections, be and the same is hereby amended by deleting therefrom the
following:
A. Stop Streets
Geneva Circle
Madison Court
Racine Circle
Minot Court
B. Location
At Wisconsin Lane
At Wisconsin Lane
At Wisconsin Lane
At Dakota Drive
Section 2: That Section 14.205, Yield Right -of -Way Intersections
of the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and the
same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
Column A. Column B.
Geneva Circle At Wisconsin Lane
Madison Court At Wisconsin Lane
Racine Circle At Wisconsin Lane
Minot Court At Dakota Drive
Section 3: Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the
provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less
than $10.00 nor more than $200.00 for each offense.
Section 4: That the Chief of Police or his designated agent shall
post or cause to be posted suitable signs for such one-way stop and
yield intersections.
Section 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
