AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE
NUMBERS 1240, 1252, 1259, 1261,
AND 1274 BY EXTENDING THE TIME
IN WHICH ALL NECESSARY PARTIES
TO THE SCHMIDT ANNEXATION MUST
SIGN THE PRE -ANNEXATION AGREE-
MENT FROM MARCH 1, 1979, TO
MARCH 15, 1979
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
Du Page, Illinois, as follows:
Section l: That Sections 2, 3, 4, and 7 of Ordinance
No. 1240, which sections refer to the date of October 3, 1978,
as the date in which the Pre -Annexation Agreement and Ordinance
shall be effective, and later amended to read October 31, 1978
by Ordinance No. 1252, and November 15, 1978 by Ordinance No.
1259 and January 24, 1979 by Ordinance No. 1261 and March 1,
1979 by Ordinance 1274 be and the same are further amended
so that the effective date shall be March 15, 1979.
Section 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
