AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING VEHICLES FROM
MAKING LEFT TURNS FROM HALO DRIVE INTO
BUSSE ROAD BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 3:00 P.M.
AND 5:00 P.M. MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage,
Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That Section 14.311, No Left Turn, of the
Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village, be and the
same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
(f) No operator of any motor vehicle travelling East-
bound on Halo Drive shall make a left turn from Halo Drive into
Busse Road between the hours of 3:00 o'clock p.m. and 5:00
o'clock p.m., Monday through Friday, unless ordered to do so
by a police officer.
Section 2: That Section 14.801, the general penalty
section for Chapter 14 of the Municipal Code be and the same
is hereby amended to read as follows:
14.801 - Any person, firm, corporation violating any pro-
vision of this Chapter shall be fined not less than Ten ($10.00)
Dollars nor more than Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars for each
offense, unless a different penalty is established for the
violation charge.
Section 3: Any person, firm or corporation violating any
provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of
not less than Ten ($10.00) Dollars nor more than Two Hundred
($200.00) Dollars for each offense.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
