AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 16.203
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE
OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE PERTAINING TO THE
STORAGE OF GARBAGE CONTAINERS WITHIN
THE VILLAGE
BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage,
Illinois as follows.:
Section 1: That Section 16.203 of the Municipal Code
be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto the following:
On days other than collection days, all containers
shall be kept in the garage or in a reasonable
location within the side or rear yard of any lot;
no such container shall be stored or maintained
within the front yard area of any lot.
Section 2: Any person, firm or corporation violating
any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a
fine of not less than Ten ($10.00) Dollars nor more than Two
Hundred ($200.00) Dollars for each offense; and a separate
offense shall be deemed committed on each day during or on
which a violation occurs or continues.
Section 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
