AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14.204 AND SECTION
14.205 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE BY ADDING THERETO
YIELD AND STOP INTERSECTIONS AND REPEALING
ORDINANCE NO. 1210
BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page, Illinois,
as follows:
Section 1: That Section 14.205, Yield Right -of -Way Intersections,
of the Municipal Code, be and the same is hereby amended by adding
thereto the following streets in Column A, the traffic on which must
yield the right-of-way to traffic approaching on streets listed in
Column B, which amendment reads as follows:
Column A
Lovell Court (both intersections)
Westbound Wm. Clifford Lane
Westbound Kathleen Way
Westbound Meegan Way
Southbound Meegan Way
Eastbound Aldrin Trail
Eastbound Bradley Lane
Westbound Bradley Lane
Southbound James Way
West eastbound Hodlmair Lane
Northbound James Way
Column B
at Glenn Trail
at Mitchell Trail/ VanBraun Trail
at Volkamer Trail
at Volkamer Trail
at Kathleen Way
at Mitchell Trail
at Mitchell Trail
at Parker Place
at Haise Lane
at James Way
at East Hodlmair Lane
Section 2: That Section 14.204, One -Way and Two -Way Stop
Intersections, which provides for the traffic proceeding on the streets
listed in Column A to stop before entering in or across intersections
listed opposite in Column B be amended by adding thereto the following:
Column A Column B
Eastbound and Westbound Wood Trail at Mitchell Trail
Southbound Parker Place at Aldrin Trail
Eastbound Haise Lane at Volkamer Trail
Southbound Home Avenue at Armstrong Lane
Section 3: That Ordinance No. 1210, which Ordinance was passed
and approved on the 28th day of March, 1978, be and the same is
hereby repealed.
Section 4: That any person, firm or corporation violating any
provision of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than
Ten ($10.00) Dollars, nor more than Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars, for
each offense.
Section 5: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
