AN ORDINANCE RE -ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN
THE VILLAGE FROM THE B-3, AUTOMOTIVE ORIENTED
BUSINESS DISTRICT, TO THE I-2, GENERAL
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
at a public meeting duly called and held according to law, considered
the question of re -zoning certain property legally described hereinafter
from the B-3, Automotive Oriented Business District, to the I-2,
General Industrial District, at the request of Harco Leasing Company and
Superior Tea and Coffee Company; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village, after having considered the recommendation of said
Plan Commission, find and believe it to be in the best interests of the
Village that said property be re -zoned to the I-2, General Industrial
District;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
Du Page, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That the following property located at 2100 Busse
Road, Elk Grove Village, be and the same is hereby re -zoned from the
B-3, Automotive Oriented Business District, to the I-2, General
Industrial District:
That part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 34,
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, Bounded and described.as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Centex
Industrial Park Unit 151 being a subdivision in the
Southeast Quarter of said Section 34, said Northeast
corner also being the intersection of the North
line of Arthur Avenue, and the West line of State
Route 83; thence West on the North line of Arthur
Avenue 400.00 feet; thence North at right angles to
the last described course 406.63 feet more or less
to the South line of Lot "B" in Centex Industrial
Park Unit 21, Being a subdivision in said Section
34; thence East on the South line of said Lot "B"
and the South line of Lot "A" in Centex Industrial
Park Unit 20 being a subdivision in said Section 34,
406.01 feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot "A";
thence South on the West line of State Route 83,
406.67 feet more or less to the place of beginning
in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk is hereby directed to amend
the Zoning Map of the Village to reflect that change.
Section 3: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
