HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1123 - 2/22/1977 - BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS/AMENDEDORDINANCE N0, 1123 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 7, ARTICLE 111, BOARD OF ZONING APPEALS, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of Illinois: and Section 7.306 Section 1: That Chapter 7, Article 3, Section 7.305 be and are hereby amended to read as follows: 7.305 Fees.) All petitioners filing applications directed to the Board of Zoning Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village shall pay a filing fee of Fifty ($50.00) Dollars to the Village Clerk, and in addition shall deposit the sum of One Hundred ($100.00) Dollars to cover the cost of a court reporter's transcribing the proceeding before said Board of Zoning Appeals. At the request of the petitioner, the President and Board of Trustees may waive said $100.00 deposit provided erither the petit- ioner agrees to provide his own court reporter and a copy of the transcript of the proceedings had before the Board of Zoning Appeals, or the petitioner demon- strates to the President and Board of Trustees that the public interest is not sufficiently affected so as to justify a transcription of the proceedings had before said Board of Zoning Appeals. 7.306 Meetings.) All meetings of the Board of Zoning Appeals shall be held at the call of the Chairman and at such times as such Board may determine. All hearings conducted by it shall be open to the public. The Board shall keep minutes of its proceedings showing the vote of each member upon each question, or if absent or failing to vote, indicating such fact, and shall also keep records of its hearings and other official actions. Findingsof fact shall be included in the minutes of each case of a requested variation, and the reasons for recommending or denying such variation shall be specified. Every rule or regulation, every amendment or repeal thereof, and every order, requirement, decision or determination of the Board shall be filed immediately in the office of the Board and shall be a public record. The Board shall adopt its own rules of procedure not in conflict with ordinances of the Village or with the Illinois Statutes in such case made and provided, and may select or appoint such officers as it deems necessary. Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law. ATTEST: PASSED this 22nd day of Februa 1977.
