HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 1057 - 5/11/1976 - ZONING VARIATION/1900 GREENLEAF AVE010DINANCE NO. 1057 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF T1IE REAR SET BACK REOU I Rl?MENT AT 1900 GRE_ENLI AF AVENUE RE: Field Container Corporation WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals dial conduct public hearings on the granting of a variation of the rear yard line at 1900 Greenleaf Avenue; and WHEREAS due notice was given to all concerned and all statutory provisions satisfied; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals did determine that a practical. hardship would exist for the owner if the strict zoning code were required under the curcumstances; and WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals believes it would be in the best interest of the Village that the variation requested be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, as follows: Section 1: That the ordinance be varied so as to permit a building to be constructed within ten (10) feet of the rear yard set back line rather than the required fifteen (15) feet on premises located at 1900 Greenleaf Avenue legally described as follows: Eli and Dina Field Resubdivision, being a resubdivision of Lot 24, (except the west 801.72 feet thereof) in Centex Industrial Park Uj;t No. 5, Being a subdivision in Section 35, Township 41 Noi th, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, accord- ing to law.
