AN ORDINANCE GRANTING CHIMNEY VARIATION
AT 1535 OREGON TRAIL
WHEREAS, the builder inadvertently constructed a chimney two
feet into the 25 foot frontyard set -back at 1535 Oregon Trail; and
WHEREAS, to require its demolition to conform to the ordinance
would create a practical hardship; and
WHEREAS, an appropriate zoning Board of Appeals hearing, duly
published, was had and a finding made to this effect;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties,
Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted to the premises at 1535
Oregon Trail a variation into the frontyard set -back so as to permit
a two foot intrusion into said set -back area to permit the constuction
of a chimney.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, according
to law.
PASSED this 8th day of June , 1976.
