AN ORDINANCE RENAMING VILLAGE DRIVE TO COMMERCE DRIVE IN ELK GROVE
VILLAGE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, State of
Illinois:
Section 1. Pursuant to the authority granted the Village of Elk Grove
Village by Chapter 24 of the Illinois Revised Statutes the name of the street
shown and dedicated as Village Drive on a plat of subdivision identified as
Frisbie Subdivision and running east and west between Higgins Road and Route
83 (Busse Road) is hereby changed to Commerce Drive.
Section 2. That the Street Department of the Village of Elk Grove Village
is hereby ordered and directed to replace existing signs in accordance with
the intent of this ordinance and that the Village Clerk is ordered and directed
to record a copy of this ordinance with the Recorder of Deeds and that hereafter
all Village maps and plans and other official acts shall refer to Village Drive
in Frisbie Subdivision as Commerce Drive.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication according to law,
