AREASORDINANCE NO. 1074 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 11.204, OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois, as follows: Section 1: That Section 11.204 A.1., Driveways for Residential Property, of the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: 1. Driveways for residential property shall be constructed of either Portland cement concrete or a two inch asphalt surface and the width of the driveway (measured at the lot line adjoining a street) shall be the same width as the apron. Section 2: At Section 11.204 B.1., Driveways for Industrial and Commercial Areas, of the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: 1. Driveways shall be constructed of either Portland cement concrete or an asphalt surface and the width of the driveway beginning at the building set -back line shall be increased or decreased along a straight line to the width of the driveway apron at the property line. Section 3: That any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this Ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not less than Ten or more than Five Hundred Dollars for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day upon which a violation occurs or continues to exist. Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, according to law. PASSED this 22nd day of June 1976.
