AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING AND ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE (RAZIM PROPERTY)
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village Clerk
of Elk Grove Village by Charles Razim, 555 West Biesterfield Road, Elk
Grove Township, the sole record owner of the hereinafter described land
and territory for annexation to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate limits
of any Municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove
Village, and has electors residing thereon; and
WHEREAS, all applicable provisions of Illinois Revised Statutes
concerning the annexation have been fully complied with.
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk
Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page, Illinois, have examined
said petition and believe it to be in the best interests of the Village
that said land and territory be annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page, Illinois,
as follows:
Section 1: That the land and territory shown and legally described
as follows:
The East 170.71 feet, as measured along the North Line,
of the North 315.37 feet, as measured along the East
Line thereof, of the Southwest Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter of Section 32, Township 41 North, Range 11, East
of the Third Principal Meridian, except the North 60.0
feet thereof, in Cook County, Illinois.
incorporated hereto and made a part of this ordinance, which territory is
contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, and is not within the
limits of any municipality, be and the same is hereby annexed to the
Village of Elk Grove Village, and, hereby granted R-3 Zoning Classification,
so that hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary
lines and limits of said Village, as is by law, in such case made and
provided.
Section 2: That said property is annexed pursuant to the terms and
provisions of Resolution No. 45-76 heretofore adopted by the President
and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village
is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this ordinance together
with an accurate plat of said territory with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook
County, Illinois.
Section 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law,
