AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE TEN, VILLAGE MANAGER,
OF CHAPTER 4 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE
OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE PERTAINING TO THE SUSPENSION
OF DEPUTY POLICE CHIEF AND DEPUTY FIRE CHIEF BY THE
VILLAGE MANAGER
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties,
Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That Section 4.1004 A. of Article Ten of Chapter 4
of the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and the
sa-ae is hereby amended to read as follows:
A. Hire, and when necessary for the good of the service fire,
all employees of the Village except as otherwise provided by
this Code or the Illinois Revised Statutes; relieve from active
duty the Fire Chief, the Deputy Fire Chief, the Police Chief
and the Deputy Police Chief when he deems necessary pending
final determination by the President and Board of Trustees.
Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage and approval according to law.
