AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE VACATION OF CERTAIN
EASEMENTS FOR PUBLIC UTILITIES IN THE VILLAGE OF ELK
GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village
of Elk Grove Village, after due investigation and due consideration
have deemed that the nature and extent of the public use and the
public interest to be served is such as to warrant the vacation of
public utility easements, sewer; water and drainage, on property
legally described on the Plat of Vacation attached hereto and
enclosed herein, and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees have determined
that such vacation will not affect the rendering of public utility
service within the Village;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That the easements for public utilities, sewer,
water and drainage, which were previously dedicated to the Village
of Elk Grove Village and legally described hereinafter on the
attached Plat of Vacation, incorporated herein, shall and the same
are hereby vacated, and closed inasmuch as said easements are no
longer required for public use, and the public interest is best
served by such vacation.
Section 2: Be it further ordainedthat the Village Clerk be
and is hereby directed to file for record in the Office of the
Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois, a certified copy of
this Ordinance with an accompanying Plat of Vacation.

Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval, according to law.
