AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF THE
7,500 SQUARE; FOOT LOT REQUIRIIMENT IN THE
R-3 DISTRICT OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO
MR. WINKLE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT THE
NORTHEAST CORNER OF ARLINGTON IIEIGHTS ROAD
AND OAKWOOD DRIVE IN THE VILLAGE OF
ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the 'Zoning Board of Appeals at a public meeting duly
called and held considered the question of granting a variation from
the Elk Grove Village Zoning Ordinance No. 842 as it applies to a 7,500
square foot lot requirement under the R-3 use district to permit two
lots to have a square foot area of 6,600 square feet each; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village after having considered the recommendation of said
Zoning Board of Appeals find and believe it to be in the best interests
of the Village that such variations be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the.President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and Du Page Counties,
Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That there be granted a variation from the Elk Grove
Village Zoning Ordinance No. 842 as it applies to schedule of bulk and
yard requirements and regulations under the R-3 use district to allow a
square foot area of 6,600 square feet for two lots located at the northeast
corner of Arlington Heights Road and Oakwood Drive and legally described
as follows:
Parcel 1:
Lots 19 and 20 in Elk Grove Village Section 1 North, Being
A Subdivision of the South East Quarter of Section 21,
Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal
Meridian according to the Plat thereof recorded January 21,
1957 as Document Number 16806228 and filed January 21,
1957 as Document Number LR1718827 in Cook County, Illinois
Parcel 2:
That part of Vacated Carol Place in Elk Grove Village Section
1 North, Being A Subdivision In the South East Quarter of
Section 21, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the Third
Principal Meridian, Lying Southerly of the Southerly Line of
Lot 1, Lying Westerly of the Westerly Line of Lot 20, Lying
Northerly of the Northerly Line of Oakwood Drive And Lying
Easterly of a Line 50.0 Feet Easterly of the Center Line of
Arlington Heights Road, All in Elk Grove Village Section 1
North Aforesaid, In Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
