AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A FIVE FOOT REAR YARD
VARIATION TO THE BARTLETT MANUFACTURING
COMPANY, ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 70 NORTH
KING STREET, ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove
Village at a public meeting duly called and held according to law
considered the question of granting a five foot rear yard variation
from the 15 foot rear yard requirement contained in Article 5,
Paragraph 5.1 of the Zoning Ordinance to permit the construction of
a building addition; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees, after having
considered the recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find
and believe that an actual hardship exists, justifying a variation as
recommended.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
Du Page, Illinois, as foolows:
Section 1: That there be granted a five foot variation of
Article 5, Paragraph 5.1, of the Zoning Ordinance as it applies to
minimum required rear yard to the Bartlett Manufacturing Company
to permit the construction of an addition to their existing building
on property located at 70 North King Street, and legally described as
follows:
Lot 1 and the south 60.00 feet of Lot 2 in Higgins
Road Commercial Subdivision Unit No. 5, being a resubdivision
in the west half of Section 22, Township 41 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian,
also
Lot 23 in Higgins Road Commercial Subdivision Unit
No. 17, being a resubdivision in the west half of Section 22,
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, all in Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according
to law.
