AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 23.903 (LANE
DESIGNATION) OF ARTICLE IX (FIRE LANES) OF
THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK
GROVE VILLAGE.
WHEREAS the firm of Draper and Kramer, Agent for the
owner of certain property known as the Regency Square Apart-
ments, 700 Perrie Drive, in the Village of Elk Grove Village
has - through its Resident Manager - petitioned the President
and Board of Trustees requesting the establishment of fire
lanes on that property (Exhibit A, attached) and,
WHEREAS, said property consists of all properties abutting
and including private streets named Perrie Drive and Grove
Terrace in the Village of Elk Grove Village (Exhibit B, attached);
and,
WHEREAS, Exhibit B has areas indicated by Red lines
designating fire lanes which are approved by the chief of the
fire department:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, as follows:
SECTION 1: That Section 23.903 of the Municipal Code of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, which provides for certain
areas located in the Village to be designated "Fire Lanes",
and making it unlawful for any person or vehicle to block or
obstruct wholly or partially any such designated area, be
amended by adding thereto the following:
L. Regency Square Apartments - all areas designated
as Fire Lanes on a map entitled "Perrie Grove
Apartments", which map is hereby incorporated
as a part of Ordinance No. _4�.2

SECTION 2: That a map entitled, "PERRIE GROVE APARTMENTS",
with red markings indicating those areas designated as fire lanes
(Exhibit B, attached hereto) be and the same is hereby incorporated
into this ordinance.
SECTION 3: Any person, firm or corporation violating any'
provision of this ordinance shall be fined not less than Five ($5.00)
Dollars, nor more than Two liundred ($200.00) for each offense.
SECTION 4: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage approval and publication
according to law.
SECTION 5: That the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to
publish this ordinance in pamphlet form and the Village Manager
is directed to post all areas designated as fire lanes hereby
with appropriate signs.

Dear Members of the Village Board:

We, Draper and Kramer, Incorporated, Agent for the owner of
certain property located at 700 Perrie Dr. and 675 Grove Terrace,
in Elk Grove Village, Illinois desire the establishment of Fire Lanes
around our buildings. I, Mary Tibbs, being the Resident Manager of
the property do hereby authorize and permit the Village of Elk Grove
Village to establish Fire Lanes on the aforementioned property.
Said Fire Lanes to be located and designated on the property as
shown on the Plat of Survey here attached as Exhibit 'A'.
It is clearly understood that the owner of the property will
pay for the purchase and installation of the signs posting the
Fire Lane. Said signs to be approved by the Village before their
installation.
