O `17 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 14.205 YIELD RIGHT OF WAY INTERSECTIONS OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE WHEREAS, a traffic study has been made by the Police Department of the Village of Elk Grove Village pursuant to additional yield right -of -ray intersections within the Village and, WHEREAS, the traffic study has recommended that certain inter- sections hereinafter set forth be deemed yield right-of-way inter- sections and appropriate traffic signs be placed thereon. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook and DuPage Counties, Illinois, as follows: Section 1. That Section 14.205, Yield Right of Way Intersections, of the Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village which sets forth that traffic on roadways designated in Column A below must yield the right of way to traffic approaching, entering, or within the intersection of said roadways with the roadways designated in Column B below, be and the same and is hereby amended by adding thereto the following: Column A Pleasant Drive, Mimosa Lane and Mulberry Lane Keswick Avenue, Brantwood Place, Grassmere Road, Penrith Avenue Brantwood Court, Shelley Road and Smethwick Lane Walnut Lane, Magnolia Lane, Pinewood Drive and Love Street Larchmont Drive and Aspen Lane Carswell Avenue McDevitt Circle, Young Circle, Collins Circle and Shepherd Circle Glen Trail, Cernan Court (both intersections), Carpenter Court (both intersections), Cooper Court (both intersections) Borman Court (both intersections), Conrad Court (both intersections), Anders Drive and Cunningham Circle Tottenham Lane Charles Drive Biester£ield Road Column B Cypress Lane Brantwood Avenue Maple Lane Walnut Lane Victoria Lane White Trail Grissom Trail West Glen Trail Brandywine Avenue Cosman Road White Trail Section 2. Any person, firm or corporation violating any pro- visions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than Five ($5.00) Dollars nor more than Two Hundred ($200.00) Dollars for each offense. Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication accord- ing to law. PASSED this 24th day of February 1976.
