HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 907 - 2/5/1974 - ZONING VARIATION/MINIMUM LOT AREAORDINANCE NO. 907 AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A VARIATION OF SECTION 5.1 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE AS IT RELATES TO MINIMUM LOT AREA IN AN R-3 DISTRICT WHEREAS, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the Village of Elk Grove Village, sitting as a zoning board, conducted a public hearing according to law, upon the petition of the Chicago Title and Trust Co., Trust No.46221, and Vale Development Co., to consider the question of granting a variation of Section 5.1 of Article 5, Zoning Districts, of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village, as it concerns minimum lot area in an R-3 District, on property legally described hereinafter; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, having considered the recommendation of said Zoning Board of Appeals, find and believe it to be in the best interests of the Village that such varia- tions be granted; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, as follows: SECTION l: That there be granted a variation of Section 5.1 - DIMENSIONS, BULK AND AREA REGULATIONS FOR ALL ZONING DISTRICTS, of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of Elk Grove Village (Ordinance No. 842) to the Chicago Title and Trust Co., Trustee under Trust No. 46221, and the Vale Development Co. on property legally described hereinafter: Lot 33 in Block 1, in Elk Grove Village, Section 19, being a subdivision in Section 36, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois, excepting therefrom that portion lying east of the west line of Rohlwing Road, per document No. 11069335,dated April 5, 1932. The variation for Lot 33 to permit a minimum lot area of 7,149 square feet. Lot 34 in Block 1, in Elk Grove Village, Section 19, being a subdivision in Section 36, Township 41 North Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois, excepting therefrom that portion lying east of the west line of Rohlwing Road, per document No. 11069335, dated April 5, 1932. The variation for Lot 34 to permit a minimum lot area of 7,154 square feet. Lot 36 in Block 1, in Elk Grove Village, Section 19, being a subdivision in Section 36, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois, excepting therefrom that portion lying east of the west line of Rohlwing Road, per document No. 11069335, dated April 5, 1932. The variation for Lot 36 shall permit a minimum lot area of 7,168 square feet. Lot 39 in Block 1, in Elk Grove Village, Section 19, being a subdivision in Section 36, Township 41 North, Range 10, East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois, excepting therefrom that portion lying east of the west line of Rohlwing Road, per document No. 11069335, dated April 5, 1932. The variation for Lot 39 shall permit a minimum lot area of 7,190 square feet. SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, according to law. PASSED this 5th day of February , 1974.
