HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 913 - 3/5/1974 - ANNEXING HECK PROPERTYI -3 � � ORDINANCE NO, `7 / AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING CEiRTAINN PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village by Fred C. Heck and Emily W. Heck, his wife, as record owners of the hereinafter described land and territory and no electors reside on said .land for annexation to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate limits of any municipality, but is contiguous to the Village of E1k.Grove Village; and WHEREAS, all applicable provisions of Article VII of Chapter 2-^. cf the Illinois Revised Statutes (1971) concerni-ng the annexation of contiguous property by municipalities Iiave been complied with and adhered to; and WHEREAS, Elk Grove Rural Fire Protection Distiict has been notified in accordance with all State statutes of the Village's annexing of the property and that no objection has been made to the actions of the Village; and WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, have examined said petition and believe it to be in the best intprests of the Village that said land and territory be annexed thereto: NOW, TIIEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and -1- 1 II DuPage, Illinois, Section is as follows: That the land and territory shown and legally described on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein and made a part of this ordinance, which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, and is not within the limits of any municipality, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village, so that hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary fines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case made and provided. Section 2: That said property, as annexed, is pursuant to the terms and provisions of the Elk Grove Village Zoning Ordinance, No. 842, and the Village of Elk Grove Village Official Map adopted by Ordinance No Zoning District. 570, hereby included in the I-1 Section 3: That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory with the Recorder of .Deeds of Cook County, Illinois. Section 4: That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval, according to law. PASSED this 5th day of March 1974. APPROVED this 11th day of April , 1974.
