AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 17.205 FEES.OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF TIIE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
PERTAINING TO ANNUAL LICENSE FEES FOR DOGS
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the President and the Board
of Trustees of the VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE, COUNTIES OF COOK
AND DU PAGE, ILLINOIS,, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That section 17.205 - Fees) of the Municipal
Code of tre VILLAGE OF ELIC GROVE VILLAGE shall be amended to read as
follows:
17.203 - Fees Every owner of a dog within the
VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
shall pay an annual license fee of $2.00 for each
dog and shall receive from the Village Clerk a metal
tag bearing the license number and the year issued
stamped thereon. Any owner of a licensed dog whose
license'tag his been lost may obtain a replacement
tag by payment: of a fee of 504 to the Village Clerk.
Section 2: Any person, firm or corporation violating any
provision of this Article shall be fined not less than $5.00 nor
more.than $200.00 dollars for each offense,.and a separate offense
shall be deemed committed on each day during or on which a violation
occurrs or continues.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication,, according
to law.
