AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 22A.302,
INSTALLATION, OF ARTICLE III, METERS,
OF CHAPTER 22A, WATER AND SEWER, OF THE
MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK
GROVE VILLAGE BY PROVIDING THE n STALLATION
OF ELECTRICAL 7AYS FOR WATER METERS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT OI.DAINED, by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Vi:i.lage of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook
and DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That Section 22A -3D2, Installation of the
Municipal Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and the
same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 22A.302. Installation.
Meters shall be installed in a readily accessible
location as approved by the Elk Grove Village Water
Department.
An electrical raceway shall be provided for the
physical protection and maintenance of the water
meter wiring. This raceway is to be continuous
from the remote head to the inside water meter.
Section 2: That this ordinance shall be in full force an_';
effect from and after its passage and approval, according to law.
