AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A PLAT OF DEVELOPMENT
FOR THE BOARDWALK APARTMENTS
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village, by Ordinances
643 and 644, adopted August 12, 1969, rezoned and varied the
Elk Grove Village Zoning Ordinance and Map so as to permit the
construction of 144 apartment dwelling units on premises legally
described as follows:
and,
Parcel 1: The north 15 acres, except the East 397.08 feet thereof
of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 32,
Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Princi-
pal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois (approximately
10.5012 acres).
Parcel 2: The West 100 feet of the East 397.08 feet of the
South 185 feet of the North 15 acres of the Northwest
1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 32, Township 41
North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian
in Cook County, Illinois (approximately .425 acres)
WHEREAS, the owner and developers of said premises in accordance
with agreements made with the Village of Elk Grove Village have
submitted a detailed plan of development; and
WHEREAS, said plan of development has been approved; and
WHEREAS, said plan of development has been determined satisfactory
to the President and Board of Trustees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That the plat of development submitted by the
owners or developers of the above legally described premises
marked Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated by reference,
which plat of development, sets forth in detail an agreed to plan
of development for apartment buildings to be located on the
premises described, be and is hereby approved.
Section 2: That all Village officials are directed to
issue all necessary permits to cause the construction of buildings
in accordance with said plat, and not otherwise.
Section 3: That the Village Clerk be and is hereby directed
to record said plat at the direction of the Village Manager.
Section 4: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, as
provided by law.
PASSED this 8th day of February 1972.
