AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 15.003 "FEES"
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF
ELK GROVE VILLAGE, AS SAME PERTAINS TO
MOTORCYCLES AND MOTOR BIKES
NOWT THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, that:
Section 1: That Section 15.003, Fees, of the Municipal
Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village, be and is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"15.003, Annual Fees.
* Motor Bicycle and scooter (150 cc. piston dis-
placement or less) $3.00
*Motorcycle (over 150 cc. piston displacement) 5.00
Passenger Cars 5.00
Trucks - having a gross weight of not more
than 10,000 pounds, including the weight of
the vehicle and maximum load 20.00
Trucks - having a gross weight of more than
10,000 pounds but not more than 20,000
pounds, including the weight of the vehicle
and maximum load 30.00
Trucks - having a gross weight of more than
20,000 pounds but not more than 36,000 pounds,
including the weight of the vehicle and the
maximum load 40.00
Trucks - having a gross weight of more than
36,000 pounds but not more than 50,000
pounds, including the weight of the vehicle
and maximum load 50.00
Trucks - having a gross weight of more than
50,000 pounds, including the weight of the
vehicle and maximum load 60.00
An additional fee of 50 percent of the cost of the sticker
shall be paid when the application for license is not 'made
until after February 15th of any year. Except this charge
shall not apply to those applicants who became residents of
this Village after February 15th of the year in which the
application is submitted, or where the application is made
for a license for a newly acquired vehicle,

The horsepower and weight shall be determined in the
manner prescrived by statute for determining these
factors for the purpose of fixing State License fees.
* Any vehicle having 50 cc. piston displacement or less
is prohibited from operating on streets and public
property in the Village."
Section 2: Any ordinance or part of an ordinance in conflict
herewith is hereby repealed.
Section 3: This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval, according to law.
