AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TI3E VILLAGE OF ELIC
GROVE ZONING- ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED, RELATING
TO PROPERTY KNOWN AS 0384 ACRES AT TILE NORTH-
EAST CORNER OF DISNER AND BIESTERFIELD ROADS
BY PERMITTING THEREON A SPECIAL USE FOR
HOSPITAL AND RELATED USES
WHEREAS, the Planning Concnission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, sitting as a Zoning Commission, at a public hearing duly
called and held according to law, considered the question of granting a
special use for hospital and related uses on the real estate hereinafter
described; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village, having considered the recommendations of said Zoning
Commission and the agreement of the petitioner that a building be con -
strutted on the real estate hereinafter described, subject to die pro-
visions stated below;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage
Illinois, as follows:
Section 1: That an ordinance entitled, "An Ordinance to
regulate and limit the height and bulk of buildings; to regulate and limit
the intensity of the use of lot areas, and to regulate and determine the
areas of open space within and surrounding such buildings; to classify,
regulate and restrict the location of trades and industries and the loca-
tion of buildings designed for specified industrial, business, residential
and other uses; to divide the entire Village of Elk Grove Village into dis-
tricts for the purpose of this ordinance; to fix standards to which build-
ings or structures shall conform; to prohibit uses, buildings or structures
incompatible with the character of such districts respectively; and to
prevent additions to and alterations or remodeling of existing buildings
or structures in such a way as to avoid the restrictions and limitations
lawfully imposed hereunder,and to provide penalties for violation hereof,"
passed and approved July 8, 1957, known as Ordinance No. 20, as amended,
be amended by granting a special use for hospital use and related uses on
the following described real estate, including, without .limiting the
generality of the terms "hospital use and related uses," the construction
of a building on the following described real estate with a height not to
exceed 60 feet which will contain, along with hospital equipment and
facilities, office space which will be leased by Alexian Brothers Medical.
Center, Inc. to doctors, dentists and other members of the Medical -Dental
Staff of Alexian Brothers Medical Center, Inc. as professional office space:
The South 1,119.04 feet, as measured along the West
line of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest quarter
of Section 32, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of the
Third Principal Meridian (except the South 264 feet of
the East 165 feet thereof, and except the West 45.0 feet, as
measured at right angles to the west line thereof and except
the South 60.0 feet, as measured at right angles to the South
line thereof), Cook County, Illinois, excepting therefrom
the West 45 feet; as measured at right angles to the West
line thereof, of the South 1,11.9.04 feet as measured along
the West .line thereof, and the South 60 feet, as measured at
right angles to the South line thereof, except the East 165
feet thereof, all of the Northwest quarter of the Northwest
quarter of Section 32, Township 41 North, Range 11 East of
the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois
Section 2: That said real estate as reclassified shall be
subject to all the limitations and conditions placed upon properties
granted a special use as defined in the ordinances aforementioned.
Section 3: That any person, firm or corporation. who
violates, disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who
resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall
be fined nor more than One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for each offense,
and each day that a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a
separate offense.

Section 4: That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication, according
to law.
