AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 6. 101 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE AND AUTHORIZING THE NUMBER OF FULL-TIME PERSONNEL
IN THE ELK GROVE VILLAGE FIRE DEPARTMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That Section 6.101, as amended, of the Municipal
Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village be and is hereby
further amended to read as follows:
6.101 Establishment. There is hereby created and established
a Department of the Municipal Government of the Village of Elk
Grove Village which shall be known as the Fire Department.
Said Department shall consist of the following full-time personnel,
and such other personnel as may be provided from time to time
by the President and Board of Trustees:
One (1) Fire Chief
Three (3) Captains
Nine (9) Lieutenants
Four (4) Fire Engineers
Thirty-five (35) Firemen
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from
and after its passage and approval according to law.
