AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 559
RELATING TO POLICE; DEPARTMENT PAY
NOW THEREFORE, be it ordained by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and Du Page, Illinois:
Section 1:: That Ordinance No. 559 be amended by adding
the following additional paragraph to Section 4 thereof:
No member of. the Police Department, upon receiving
a promotion in rank, shall receive less compensation
hereunder than he was receiving prior to his pro-
motion''.
Section 2: This Orr nanre shell be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
