AN ORDINANCE SETTING COMPENSATION FOR
TRUSTEES
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board
of Trustees, Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage:
SECTION 1: A Trustee of the Village of Elk Grove Village
shall receive the sum of Twenty Five ($25.00) Dollars for each
regular or special meeting attended by him, provided, however, that
he shall not be paid for more than one meeting in any week.
SECTION 2: In the event of absence due to illness of
the Trustee or a member of his family or a death of a Trustee or
member of the immediate family or like cause he shall receive compen-
sation though not attending, provided, however, he shall not receive
more than Two (2) such payments for meetings not attended during any
year..
SECTION 3: This ordinance shall apply only to persons
elected and taking office after its passage and adoption.
SECTION 4: This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
