AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING 208 ACRES, MORE OR
LESS, OF PROPER'L'Y RU-INING FROM TIIE SOUTH
SIDE OF DEVON AVENUE TO THE NORTH SIDE OF
THORNDALE, W13ST OF STATE ROUTE. 4 83
WHEREAS, written petitions have been filed with
the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village by
Wheaton National Bank, as Trustee under. Trust No. 1333, Wallace
Boesche and Evelyn Boesche, his wife, Marie H. Schulze, Harold
W. Schulze and Lydia A. Schulze, his wife, owners of record of
the hereinafter described land and territory, for annexation to
the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
WIIEREAS, said land and territory is not within the
corporate limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the
Village of Elk Grove Village; has sib: (6) electors residing
thereon, namely George J. Theis, Wallace Boesche and Evelyn
Boesche, his wife, Marie H. Schulze, Harold W. Schulze and
Lydia A. Schulze, his wife, who have joined in said petition;
and
WIIEREAS, the President and Board of T.restees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page,
Illinois, on the day of !_ _ 19_T;✓ ,
dial authorize the President and. Village Clerk to a pre-
annexation agreement, which agreement did in fact provide for the
annexation of the hereinafter described property to the Village
of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, said petitions are under oath and in all respects
comply with the requirements of the Statutes in such cases made and
provided; and
WHEREAS, the Trustees of, the Woodale Rural Fire Pro-
tection District have been fully notified, in accordance with the
Statutes, of the intent of the Village to annex the property; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page, Illinois,
have examined said petitions and believe it to be to the best
interest of said Village that said land and territory be annexed
thereto:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of
Cook and Du Page, Illinois:

which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove
Village, is not within the limits of any municipality, contains
six (6) electors who have joined with the record owners in a
petition for annexation and which land is not presently in any
incorporated municipality, be and the same is hereby annexed to
the Village of Elk Grove Village, so that hereafter said ter-
ritory shall be included within the boundary lines and limits
of said Village, as is by law in such case made and provided.
Section 2: That the Village Clerk of the Village of
Elk Grove Village is hereby directed to record a certified copy
of this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said territory
with the Recorder of Deeds of t County, Illinois.
Section 3: That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according to
law.
