AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE'S
ZONING ORDINANCE RELATING TO PROPERTY CONSISTING OF
APPROXIMATELY ONE HUNDRED ACRES LOCATED BETWEEN LANIMEIER ROAD
AND HIGGINS ROAD AND WEST OF STATE ROUTE 83
WHEREAS, the Plan Commission of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, sitting as a Zoning Coomnission at a public hearing
duly called and held according to law as $TtfMLIR7cMa
on January 4 , 1966, considered the question of
reclassifying the real estate hereinafter described from
R-1 Twenty Thousand Square Foot Single Family Dwelling
District to M-1 Light Industrial District,
AND WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Viliage of Elk Grove Village, having considered the recom-
mendation of said Plan Commission, find and believe that the
highest and best use of said real estate is that of
M-1 Light Industrial District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED

Section is That an ordinance entitled "An Ordinance to
Regulate and Limit the Leight and Bulk of Buildings; to
Regulate and Limit the Intensity of the Use of Lot Areas,
and to Regulate and Determine the Areas of Open Space Within
and Surrounding Such Buildings; to Classify, Regulate and
Restrict the Location of Trades and Industries and the Loca-
tion of Buildings Designed for Specified Industrial Business,
Residential Arid other uses; to Divide the kntire Village of
Elk Grove Village into Districts for the Purpose of this
Ordinance; to Fix Standards to Which Buildings or Structures
shall Confirm; to Prohibit Uses, buildings or structutes
Incompatible with the Character of Such Districts Respectively;
and to Prdvtt Additions to and Alterations dr Remodeling of
Existing Buildings or Structures in Such a Way as to Avoid the
Restrictions and Limitations Lawfully Imposed Hereunder, and
to Provide Penalties for Violation hereof,1° passed and approved
July 8, 1957, known as Ordinance No. 20, as amended, be
amended by reclassifying the following described real estate
from R-1 Single Family Dwelling District to M-1 Light Industrial District.
LEGAL DESCRIPTION:
(attached hereto and made a part hereof)
Section 2. That said real estate as reclassified shall be
subject to all the limitations and conditions placed upon
properties in the M-1 Light Industrial District
as defined in the ordinances aforementioned.
Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who violates,
disobeys, omits, neglects or refuses to comply with or who
resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of this
ordinance shall be fined not more than One Hundred ($100.00)
Dollars for each offense, and each day that a violation is
permitted to exist shall constitute a separate offense.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
