AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING ANNEXATION FEES AND
AMENDING SECTION 7.709 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and Du Page, Illinois:
Section 1. That Section 7.709 of the Municipal Code of
Elk Grove Village be amended to read as follows:
"7.709 Annexation fees. All applicants for annexation
of property to the Village of Elk Grove Village shall
pay an annexation fee in accordance with the following
s schedule:
Annexation regardless of acreage without
pre -annexation agreement or hearing Fee - $100.00
Annexation and pre -annexation agreement
and/or hearing $5.00 per acre or $250.00 whichever be the
greater sum
The foregoing is subject to amendment during the pendency
of consideration by the Village Board of the petition for
annexation and agreements relating thereto and may be
waived in whole or in part or increased upon the written
recommendation of the Village Manager or the Village
President to the Village Board should the foregoing prove
inadequate or unfair."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
