AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE SUBDIVISION CONTROL
ORDINANCE (SECTION 8.004 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE)
RELATING TO LAND DEDICATION
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President
and Board of Trustees of the Villag3 of Elk Grove
Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That provisions of the Subdivision
Control Ordinance, Section 8.004 of the Municipal
Code of the Village of Elk Grove Village dealing
with public lands, page 54, be amended by adding
on said page thereto the following:
"d) All lands dedicated hereunder shall be
first conveyed by deed to the Village which
in turn shall reconvey or retain same in
accordance with a written agreement between
itself and the subdivider which agreement
has been approved as being in accordance
with the Village plan. Any reconveyance
shall be made only to a municipal corporation,
park district, or school district,•or to such
non -for-profit corporation as approved by the
subdivider."
Section 2 This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publi-
cation according to law.
