AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO PLAN COMMISSION MEMBERSHIP
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
Counties of Cook and Durage, Illinois:
Section 1. That Section 7.702 of the Municipal Code
of the Village of Elk Grove Village be amended to read
as follows:
"7.702 Membership. The Plan Commission shall
consist of seven (7) members, residents of the
Village appointed by the Village President
by and with the consent of the Board of Trustees."
Section 2. That Section 7.703 of the Municipal Code
of the Village of Elk Grove Village be amended to read
as follows:
"7.703 Term of Office. Of the seven (7) members
of the Plan Commission, one shall be appointed
Chairman for a term of five years; one shall be
appointed for a term of four years; one shall be
appointed for a term of three years; two each
shall be appointed for two year terms; and two
shall be appointed for one year terms. There-
after all appointed members shall serve for a
term of three years. Vacancies shall be filled
by appointment for unexpired terms only. All
members shall serve without compensation."
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
