AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 22A.102
OF THE ELK GROVE VILLAGE MUNICIPAL CODE
RELATING TO SECURITY DEPOSITS FOR WATER SERVICE
NCW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and the
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and Du Page:
Section 1. That section 22A.102 of the Municipal Code of
the Village of Elk Grove Village be and is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"22A.102 Applications. Applications to_haire water turned
on shall be made in writing to the Superintendent of Public
Works and shall contain an agreement by the applicant to abide
by the ordinances of the Village including provisions contained
in this chapter and in Section 8.005 of this Code.
"No application for water service arising after discon-
tinuance of service for non-payment or delayed payment shall be
granted unless the applidtnt requesting same shall deposit
$20.00 to guarantee the payment of future water and sewer bills.
Said amount shall be returned to the applicant upon payment of
the final bill."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
