AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE
OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE, WHICH PROPERTY CONSISTS OF
ONE PLUS ACRES, LOCATED ON BIESTERFIELD ROAD
APPROXIMATELY 1162 feet EAST OF ITS INTERSECTION
WITH BISHER ROAD, TO THE VILLAGE.
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Village
Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village by Keith E. Beine and Alice
Beine, his wife, being the sole owners of record and the sole electors
residing on the hereinafter described land and territory, for
annexation to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not now within the corporate
limits of any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Elk
Grove Village; and
WHEREAS) said petition is under oath and in all respects complies
with the requirements of the State Statutes in such cases made and
provided; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and Du Page, have examined said
petition and believe it to be to the best interest of said Village
that said land and territory be annexed therto:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
Du Page, Illinois:
Section 1. That all land and territory described in said petition
to wit:
The South 264.0 feet of the East 165.00 feet of the
Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of Section
32, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third
Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois.
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, is
not within the limits of any municipality, contains thereon the
petitioners as sole electors and is not presently in any incorporated
municipality, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk
Grove Village, so that hereafter said territory shall be included
within the boundary lines and limits of said Village, as is by law
in such case made and provided.
Section 2. The Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village
is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this ordinance
together with an accurate plat of said territory with the Recorder
of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and afer its passage and approval according to law.
PASSED this 28th day of September, 1965.
