AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING THE SALE OF FOOD AND
BEVERAGES ON PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAYS IN AREAS ZONED
MANUFACTURING AND PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAYS ADJACENT
THERETO.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
Counties of Cook and Du Page, Illinois:
Section 1. That Section 11.120 of the Municipal Code
of the TrITage of Elk Grove Village be and it is hereby
renumbered so henceforth it shall be known as Section 11.121.
Section 2. That a new section 11.120 be and is hereby
added to �T a Municipal Code of Elk Grove Village to read as
follows:
"11.120. It shall be unlawful for any person, firm
or corporation to use any street, sidewalk or public
right-of-way for the purpose of selling food or
beverages thereon in areas zoned M-1 or M-2 Manufacturing
by virtue of the Elk Grove Village Zoning Code nor upon
any streets, sidewalks, or right-of-ways adjacent
to said zoned areas."
Section 3. Section 21.206 of the Municipal Code of Elk
Grove Village be and is hereby renumbered so henceforth it
shall be known as Section 21.207.
Section 4. That there be added to the Elk Grove Village
Municipal Code a new Section 21.206 to read as follows:
"21.206. No license issued hereunder shall grant per-
mission to any person to sell food or beverages along
and upon public right-of-ways in areas zoned manufacturing
in the Village of Elk Grove Village as same is prohibited
by virtue of Section 11.120."
Section 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication
according to law.
