AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY OWNED BY THE
CHICAGO DISTRICT PIPELINE COMPANY TO THE VILLAGE
OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the
Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village by the
Chicago District Pipeline Company, an Illinois corporation;
and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not now within
the corporate limits of any municipality and there are no
electors residing thereon and is contiguous to the Village
of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, said property is presently within and is
served by the Elk Grove Rural Fire Protection District,
which district, together with each of its trustees have
received. notice in writing more than ten days prior to any
action on the annexation of said territory to the Village
of Elk Grove Village; and.
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage,
Illinois, have examined said petition and believe it to be
to the best interest of said village that said territory and
land be in fact annexed. thereto:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village,
Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That all land and territory described in
said petition to -wit:
The East 108.71 feet of Lot 1 in the subdivision of
the estate of Henry Landmeier, being a part of
Section 26 and 35, Township 41 North, Range 11,
East of the Third Principal Meridian, according to
the Plat acknowledged on the 4th date of December,
1916 by Richard Landmeier, Albert Landmeier, Otto
Landmeier and Gustav Landmeier and filed on the
2nd day of March 1917 in the Office of the Registrar
of Titles in Cook County, Illinois as Doc. 70396.
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove
Village, is not within the limits of any municipality,

incorporated municipality, and the same is hereby annexed.
to the Village of Elk Grove Village so that hereafter said
territory shall be included in the boundary lines and limits
of said Village, as is by law in such case made and provided.
Section 2. The Village Clerk of the Village of
Elk Grove Village is hereby directed to record a certified
copy of this ordinance together with an accurate plat of
said territory with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County,
Illinois.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
to law.
PASSED this 22nd day of March, 1966.
