AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE EXCHANGE AND TRANSFER
OF CERTAIN REAL ESTATE
WHEREAS the land and territory legally described
on Exhibit "A" attached is owned by the trustees of Schools
Township 41 North Range 11 East, Cook County, Illinois, for
the use and benefit of schools, Township 41 North Range 11
East, Cook County, Illinois, and
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village is the
owner of record of real estate legally described on Exhibit "B"
attached, and
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary and convenient
that there be an exchange of said real estate so that the
Village of Elk Grove Village becomes the owner of the real
estate described on Exhibit A attached, and the trustees
of Schools of Township 41 North Range 11 East, Cook County,
Illinois become the owner of the real estate described on
Exhibit F) attached, for the use and benefit of schools in
Township 41 North Range 11 East, Cook County, Illinois,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT
AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE,
COUNTIES OF COOK AND DU PAGE:
Section 1: That the land and territory within the
corporate limits of Elk Grove Village is partially within
and partially without land and territory which is under the
jurisdication of Community Consolidated School District #59,
Cook County, Illinois, for school purposes, and that land

to be exchanged by authority hereof lies within the
boundaries and jurisdiction of both the Village of Elk
Grove Village and Community Consolidated School District
#59 of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 2: That the Village of Elk Grove Village
declares it both necessary and convenient that it transfer
the real estate of which it is the owner and legally described
on Exhibit -.ice attached, to the trustees of the Schools of
Township 41 North Range 11 East, Cook County, Illinois, for
the use and benefit of Community Consolidated School District
#59, Cook County, Illinois, in exchange for real estate
legally described on Exhibit A attached:
Section 3: The President of the Village of Elk
Grove Village and the Village Clerk are hereby authorized
and directed to execute aasa$ary deed of conveyance
and such other documents as could be deemed necessary, so
as to effect the legal transfer of title of the real estate
described on Exhibit 1— attached, from the Village of Elk
Grove Village to the trustees of Schools of Township 41 North
Range 11 East, Cook County, Illinois, for the use and benefit
of Community Consolidated School District #59, Cook County,
Illinois.
Section 4: This ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after its passage and approval according
