AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING PROPERTY TO THE VILLAGE
OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE, WHICH PROPERTY CONSISTS
OF 35 ACRES MORE OR LESS AND LOCATED NORTH OF
LANDMEIER ROAD, EAST OF BUSSE ROAD AND WEST OF
HI GINS ROAD TO THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE.
WHEREAS, written petitions have been filed with the Village C._erk
of the Village of Elk Grove Village by the Chicago Title and Trust Company
as Trustee under Trust No. 43029 and Chicago District Pipe Line Company,
being the sole owners of record of the hereinafter described land and territory,
for annexation to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is not within the corporate limits of
any municipality but is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, there are no electors residing on said property; and
WHEREAS, said petitions are under oath and in all respects comply with
the requirements of the Statutes in such cases made and provided; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove
Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, have examined said petitions
and believe it to be to the best interest of said Village that said land and
territory be annexed thereto:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees
of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
wit:
Section 1. That all land and territory described in said petition to
The W. 205.42 feet of the E. 353.71 feet of Lots 1 and 2, taken
as a tract (Exc. the S. 622 ft. of the W. 205.42 Ft. of the E.
353.71 ft. of Lot 1, aforesaid) in the Subdivision of the Estate
of Henry Landmeier, bet ng part of Sec. 26 and 35, Township 41
North, Range 11, E. of the 3rd P.M. :according to the Plat
acknowledged on the 4th day of Dec. 1916 by Richard Landmaier,
Albert Landmeier, Otto Landmeier and Gustav Landmeier and filed
on the 2nd day of Mar. 1917 in the Office of the Registrar of
Titles of Cook County,Ill. as Doc. 70396;
ALSO
The E. 148.29 ft, of Lot 2, as measured at right angles to the
F. line of said Lot 2 and all of Lot 4 in the Subdivision of the
Estate of Henry Landmeier, being part of Sections 26 and 35, Town-
ship 41 North, Range 11, E. of the 3rd P.M. according to the Plat
acknowledged on the 4th day of Dec. 1916 by Richard Landmeier,
Albert Landmeier, Otto Landmeier and Gustav Landmeier and filed
on the 2nd day of Mar. 1917 in the Office of the Registrar of
Titles in Cook County,Illinois as Document 70396;

Lot 5 in the Subdivision of Estate of Henry Landmeier, being part
of Sections 26 and 35, Township 41 North, Range 11, E. of the 3rd
P.M. according to the Plat thereof acknowlsdged Dec. 4, 1916 by
Richard H. Landmeier, Albert Landmeier, Otto Landmeier and Gustav
Landmeier, and filed Mar. 2, 1917 in Registrar's Office of Cook
County, Illinois (Excepting therefrom that part lying E. of a
line parallel to the E. line of the W.J of the S.E.yJ of afore-
said drawn from a point in the center line of Higgins Road 587.89
ft. N.W.ly (measured on said center line of Higgins Rd.) of the
intersection of the center line of said Higgins Road and the E.
line of the W4 of the S.E.i aforesaid to a point in center line
of Landmeier Road 411.93 ft. S.W.ly (measured along the center line
of Landmeier Rd.) of the intersection of said center line of
Landmeier Road with the E. line of the W.j of the S.E.4 aforesaid
and also excepting that part of said lot lying W. of the E. 384.13 ft.
thereof measured at right angles to the E. line of said Lot and N. of
a line drawn from a point on the W. Line of the E. 384.13 ft. of said
Lot, which is 488 ft. S. of its intersection with the N.E.ly line
thereof, to a point on the W. Line of said Lot 5, which is 1025.03 ft.
S. of the N.W. corner thereof, in Cook County, Illinois;

The West 39.58 feet of the East 148.29 feet & the West 20.42 feet
of the East 168.71 feet of the South 82.50 feet of Lot 1 in the
Subdivision of the Estate of Henry Landmeier, being part of Sections
26 & 35, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian according to the Plat acknowledged on the 4th day of
December 1916 by Richard Landmeier, Albert Landmeier, Otto Landmeier,
and Gustav Landmeier and filed on the 2nd day of March 1917 in the
Office of the Registrar of Titles in Cook County, Illinois.
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village, is not within
the limits of any municipality, contains no electors and is not presently in any
incorporated municipality, be and the same is hereby annexed to the Village of
Elk Grove Village, so that hereafter said territory shall be included within the
boundary lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case made and
provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village is
hereby directed to record a certified copy of this ordinance together with an
accurate plat of said territory with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval according to law.
