AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CERTAIN PROVISIONS OF
CHAPTER 13, ARTICLE VII - PLUMBING.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and
DuPage, State of Illinois:
Section 1. That the first paragraph of Section 13.704 of the
Municip'=e of the Village of Elk Grove Village, be and is hereby
amended to read as follows:
"13.704 Adoption of Code - Specifications. The provisions
of the National Plumbing Code except where the
provisions of the Illinois Code are more stringent,
are hereby adopted as the standard of specifications
for plumbing, except wherein the provisions of
this code are in conflict therewith, in which case
the provisions of this code shall prevail."
Section 2. That Section 13.709 of the Municipal Code of the
Village of Elk Grove Village be and is hereby redesignated as Section
13.710.
Section 3. That Section 13.709 of the Municipal Code of the
Village odElk Grove Village shall read as follows:
"Molded Neoprene Joint Gaskets are permitted for cast
iron soil pipe and fittings per specifications adopted
by the Village, three copies of which are on file with
the Village Clerk.
Section 4. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
