AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING 25 ACRES OF PROPERTY
AT THE NORTH-WEST CORNER OF ARLINGTON HEIGHTS
ROAD AND BIESTERFELD ROAD TO THE VILLAGE OF
ELK GROVE VILLAGE.
WHEREAS, property legally described as follows: The Northwest
quarter of the Northeast quarter (except the North 15 acres thereof)
of Section 32, Township 41 North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal
Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois, is within the unincorporated terri-
tory of Cook County, and not within any municipality and is less than
sixty (60) acres in area: and
WHEREAS, said land and territory is both contiguous and wholly
bounded by the Village of Elk Grove Village; and
WHEREAS, the Statutes of the State of Illinois, and particularly
Section 7-1-13 of Chapter 24 thereof (Illinois Revised Statutes 1963)
provides for the annexation of said territory upon the passage of an
ordinance by the Village; and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, find and believe it
to be to the best interest of said village that the aforedescribed
land and territory be annexed thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook ani
DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That all land and territory legally described as
follows, to -wit:
The Northwest quarter of the Northeast quarter (except
the North 15 acres thereof) of Section 32, Township 41
North, Range 11, East of the Third Principal Meridian,
in Cook County, Illinois.
which territory is contiguous to the Village of Elk Grove Village
and is wholly bounded by the Village of Elk Grove and is not present-
ly in any incorporated municipality but is in the unincorporated
territory of Cook County and whereas said territory is less than
sixty (60) acres in size, be and the same is hereby annexed to the
Village of Elk Grove Village so that hereafter said territory shall
be included within the boundary lines and limits: of said Village, as
is by law in such case made and provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove
Village is hereby directed to record a certified copy of this ordin-
ance together with an accurate plat of said territory with the Re-
corder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.

Section 3• That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage and approval according to law.
