AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 20.012 CF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF ELK GROVE
VILLAGE RELATIVE TO CLOS11G HOURS OF LIQUOR DEALERS
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, Cook County, Illinois:
Section 1. That Section 20.012 of the Municipal Code of Elk Greve Vill.^gn
be and is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 20.012. Closing Hours. It shall be unlawful to sell; permit tho
consumption of or make available for consumption alcoholic liquor on th^
premises where the same is sold for consumption between the hou— of. 3.00 a,m.
and 6:00 a.m. on any day except Saturday, Sunday and January I o.' each ;:a72
and on Saturday between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a,m., and on Su:;c'.ay
between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 12:00 no -n2 and on Ja.nrary 1 of c: h yea•
between the hours of 3:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. When January 1 falls on a
Sunday, no liquor shall be sold between the hours of 3:00 a.m. end 12 noon,.
The term "premises" used here shall include in its meaning any per:tAcn ther.^o:'
as well as the whole of any building, buildings or real property under tdie
same or similar ownership or control. The foregoing shall not bs
so as to prevent the sale of food or non-alcoholic beverages on said nrem_aE,
after the hours specified above."
Section 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and e.fter
its passage, approval and publication according to law.
