AN ORDINANCE ANNEXING SOME FIFTY=TWO ACRES OF PROPERTY LOCATED AT
ARLINGTON HEIGHTS AND BIESTERFIELD ROADS TO THE VILLAGE OF ELK
GROVE VILLAGE
WHEREAS, a written petition has been filed with the Vill-
age of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois, by
Vale Development Company, a corporation, being the sold owners of
record of the hereinafter described land and territory for annexation
to the Village of Elk Grove Village, and
WHEREAS, Bernard VonBergen, Esther VonBergen and Gordon
VonBergen, being the sole electors residing thereon, have joined
in said petition for annexation and have thereby consented thereto,
and
WHEREAS,said land and territory is not within the cor-
porate limits of any municipality, but is continguous to the Vil-
lage of Elk Grove Village, and
WHEREAS, said petition is under oath and in all respects
complies with the requirements of the statute in such case made
and provided, and
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Vil-
lage of Elk Grove Village have examined said petition and believe
it to be to the best interest of said Village that said terri-
tory be annexed thereto,
NOW, THERL'FORE, BE IT ORDAI'dED by the President and
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties
of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That the land and territory described in
the above mentioned petition, towit:
The Southwest quarter of the Northeast quarter
and the North 390 feet of the West half of the
Southeast quart6r of Section 32,'Township 41
North, Range 11 East of the Third Principal
Meridian, Cook County, Illinois,
which territory is contiguous `o the Village of Elk Grove Village,
is not within the limits of any municipality, contains electors
who have all joined in the written petition for annexation, and
is not presently in any incorporated municipality, be and the same
is hereby annexed to the Village of Elk Grove Village so that
hereafter said territory shall be included within the boundary
lines and limits of said Village, as is by law in such case made
and provided.
Section 2. That the Village Clerk of the Village of
Elk Grove Village is hereby directed to record a certified copy
of this ordinance together with an accurate plat of said terri-
tory with the Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force
and effect from and after the passage, approval, according to law.
