AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE, SECTION 16.205,
FEES FOR COLLECTION OF GARBAGE AND REFUSE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village, Counties of Cook and DuPage, Illinois:
Section 1. That Section 16.205 of the Municipal Code of Elk Grove Village be
and is amended to read as follows:
1116.205. Fees. A fee of Two ($2.00) Dollars per month shall be charged for
the collection and disposal of garbage, rubbish and ashes when placed on the
parkway for pickup, per residence or apartment unit or when a pickup for an
apartment unit is made along a service drive or alley; a fee of Three ($3.00)
Dollars per month shall be charged for the disposal of garbage, rubbish and
ashes when it is picked up from the side, the rear of a house or apartment
unit.
"Bills shall be for a three -month -service period; the due date for payment to
be the fifteenth day following the last day of the service period; a penalty of
fifty cents (50¢) shall be added to each bill if payment is not made on or before
the due date."
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
