AN ORDINANCE: vacating part of Old
Busse- Road. in the Village of Elh Grove
Village, Illinois,
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village ,f
Elk Grove Village after due investigation and consideration of the petition
of sole owner abutting the portion of street sought to be vacated have deter
mined that the nature and extent of the public use and the public interest ?0
be subserved is such as to warrant the vacation of part of public street in
the following ordinances
THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY Tll'�` VRESIDEN'T AND BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GYE V.ILI AGE, COOK
COUNTY, ILLINOIS;
SECTION 1. That that ;Part of Old Bu, -i , Road running in a North
easterly and Southwesterly direction, lying be; -,-en the East Right -of" -Way
line of State Route 83 and the North Pane of Sovi.�, half of Northwest Quarter.

Meridian, in Cook County„ Illinois. in the Village of Elk Grove Village, aH
colored in blue and 'indicated by the words "To Be Vacated" on plat hereto
attached, which plat for greater certainty is hereby made a part of this
ordinance, be and the same is hereby vacated and closed, is no longer re-
quired for public use and the public interest will be subserved by such vasa
tion,
SECTION 2. The vacation herein provided for is made upon the ex
press condition that within thirty (30) days after the passage of this ordim-vv
CENTEX CONSTRUCTION COMPANY shall pay or cause to be paid to the
Village of Elk Grove Village as compensation for the benefits which will
accrue to the owners of the property abutting said public streets, hc:--eb
vacated the sum of Two Thousand Five Hundred ($2, 500.00) Dollars wluch
sum in the judgment of this Board will be equal to r_uch benefits,
SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take effect and be in full force
from and after its passage subject to the condition of Section 2 hereof pro•
vided that such CENTEX CONSTRUCTION COMPANY shall within thirty
