HomeMy WebLinkAboutORDINANCE - 104 - 7/13/1959 - ANNUAL APPROPRIATION BILL 59/60Ordinance No. 104 AN ORDINANCE making appropriations to defray the expenses of the Village of Elk Grove Village for municipal purposes designated as the "ANNUAL APPROPRI- ATION BILL" for the period beginning May 1, 1959 and ending April 30, 1960, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE VILLAGE, COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS. SECTION 1. That this ordinance shall be termed and designated as the "ANNUAL APPROPRIATION BILL" for the period beginning May 1, 1959 and ending April 30, 1960, SECTION 2. That the following sums or so much thereof as may be authorized by law, be and the same are hereby appropriated for the fiscal year beginning May 1, 1959 and ending April 30, 1960, to the several muni- cipal objects and purposes as follows: ARTICLE I. - GENERAL CORPORATE PURPOSES Section 1. Relation to a Tax upon the privilege of operating Motor Vehicles upon bighways therein and making certain Appropriations in connection therewith," approved March 23, 1939, as amended, are here- by appropriated to be expended in accordance with the provisions of the said Act. ARTICLE IVo - MISCELLANEOUS REVENUES, Section 1e All miscellaneous receipts of revenues from all purposes not hereby expressly reserved or appropriated shall be available to any appropriation herein provided for not payable out of specific funds„ Section 2e All unexpended balances of any item or items of any general appropriation made in this ordinance be expended in making up any insufficiency in any item or items in the same general appropriation fund for the same general purpose. Section 3, All unexpended balances from the annual appropriation of previous years are hereby reappropriatede -1:5 ARTICLE V> _ EFFECTIVE DATE This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according to law.
