AN ORDINANCE vacating a portion of
area heretofore dedicated for drainage
purposes in Centex Industrial Park,
Unit 3.
WHEREAS, the Village of Elk Grove Village has heretofore
approved a Plat of Subdivision, ?mown as Centex Industrial Park,
Unit, being a subdivision in Section 35, T'ownsbip 41 North, Range
11, East of the Third Principal Meridian; and, vihich plat provided
that a strip 40 feet wide adjoining the East line of Lot 18 be dedicated
for drainage purposes; and,
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees did, at a
regular meeting held on September 28, 1959, concur in the recom-
mendation of the Engineer fey the Village that a parcel of land 10 feat
in width lying East of and adjoining the East line of Lot 18 in said
Centex Industrial Park, Unit 4, being a part of area dedicated for
drainage, be vacated as being no longer necessary or useful and did
by such concurrence authorize the President and the Cleric to sign the
Plat of Vacation of said parcel; and,
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees find that
said parcel of land 10 feet in width is no longer needed or necessary
and that it would be for the `acct iltc3 't of the Village of llc Grove
Village that said parcel be vacated and that said area be devoted ,.o
other useful purposes;

VILLAGE, COOK COUNTY, ILL1NOIS:
SECTION 1. That a parcel of 3 aaxi 10 feet in width lying East
of and adjoining the East lin: of Lot 1£; in Cetxtex Industrial bark
Unit 4, being a subdivision in Section 35, Tow:iship 41 ?North, Range
11, East of the Third Principal Meridian, said 10 foot parcel being
the West 10 feet of that part of the North and South 40 foot strip of
land dedicated for drainage purposes in Centex Industrial Park Unit
3, being a subdivision in Section 35 aforesaid, lying South of and
adjoining the North line of said Lot 18 in Centex Industrial Park Unit
4 produced East and lying North of and adjoining the South line of
said Lot 18 produced East, in Cook County, Illinois; as shown by a
Plat of Vacation, executed by the President and Village Clerk of this
Village on September 28, 1959, be and the same is hereby vacated.
SECTION 2. That the Village Clerk be and is hereby directed
to record and file a certified copy of this Ordinance and said Plat in
the Office of Recorder of Deeds of Cook County, Illinois.
SECTION 3. That this Ordinance be in full force and effect
upon its passage and approval according to law.

I, Margaret C. Petrie , the duly qualified and
acting Village Clerk of the Village of Elk Grove Village, in the County
and State aforesaid, and the official keeper of the records and seal
thereof;
DO HEREBY CERTIFY that the above and foregoing is a true,
correct and compared copy of an Ordinance entitled, "An Ordinance
vacating a portion of area heretofore dedicated for drainage purposes
in Centex Industrial Park, Unit" (Ordinance No. 119), which was
duly passed and adopted by the President and Board of Trustees of the
Village of Elk Grove Village .at a regularly convened special meeting
of the said President and Board of Trustees on the 30th day of Novem-
ber, 1959; that the said meeting, on r ot'ion duly made and seconded
that said Ordinance do pass, the roll of members of said Board was
called and the vote of each member present on the question of the
passage of said ordinance was duly and separately taken by "AYES"
and "NAYS", and recorded in the Journal of Proceedings; that it
appears from such record that the result of the said roll call vote so
taken was as follows: "AYES": Burke, Carroll, Hartshorn, Scharringhausen,
Smith, Young ; "NAYS`: None ;"ABSENT" None;
and that the number of affirmative votes so cast constitutes at least
three-fourths of all trustees authorized by law to be elected for said
Village.
I DO FURTHER CERTIFY that the said Ordinance was deposit-
ed in my office on the 30th day of :+ovember, 1959,
I DO FURTHER CER'T'IFY that the. said Ordinance was deliver-
ed to the President of the sai3 Village of Elk Grove Village after passage
thereof by the said Village Board, without delay, by the Village Clerk
of the said Village of Elk Grove Village, and that the said President
approved the said Ordinance by affixing his signature thereto.
I DO FURTHER CERTIFY that the original„ of which the fore-
going is a true copy, is entrusted to my care for safe keeping, and that
I am the Lawful keeper of the same,
