AN ORDINANCE establishing speed
limits on Pratt Boulevard, Lunt
Avenue, Greenleaf Avenue and Tonne
Road
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees has caused
a survey to be made regarding traffic and €peed on Pratt Boulevard,
Lunt Avenue, Greenleaf Avenue and Tonne Road within the Village of
Elk Grove Village, and have determined that a speed limit should be
placed on said streets;
NOW, THEREFORE, ISE IT ORDAINED BY THE PRESIDENT
AND BOARD OF TRUSTEES CSF THE VILLAGE OF ELK GROVE
VILLAGE, COOL: COUNTY, ILLINOIS:
SECTION 1, It shall be unlawful for any person.to operate a
vehicle on or upon Pratt Boulevard, Lunt. Avenue, Greenleaf Avenue
and Tonne Road, or any part thereof within the Village of Elk Grove
Village at a speed in excess of Thirty (30) Miles Per Hour.
SECTION 2, Any person, firm, or corporation., or the driver
of any vehicle who shall violate any of the provisions of this ordinance
shall, upon conviction thereof, be fined not less than One ($l. 00) Dollar
nor more than One Hundred ($100, 00) Dollars for each offense.
SECTION 3, This ordinance shall be in full force and effect
upon its passage, approval, and publication according to law.
