AN ORDINANCE VACATING OLD BUSSE ROAD BETtiEEN LANDMEIER
ROAD AND GREENLEAF AVENUE
WHEREAS, the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of
Elk Grove Village, after due investigation and due consideratdony have
determined that the nature and exteht of the public use and the public
interest to be subserved is such as to warrant the variation of Old Buses
Road between Landmeier Road and Gr6Weaf Avenue in the Village of Elk Grove
Village, and further described in this ordinance, and
WHEREAS, all abutting and adjoining property owners have peti-
tioned for the vacation of Old Busse Road between Landmeier Road and
Greenleaf Avenue;
1. NCW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and by the
Board of Trustees of the Village of Elk Grove Village that Old Busse Road
between Landmeier Road and Greenleaf Avenue in the Village of Elk Grove
Village, as hereinafter described, shall be and the same is hereby vacated
and closed inasmuch as said road at the places indicated was no longer re—
quired for the public use and the public interest would best be subserved
by such vacation•
That portion of Old Busse Road falling in the SWt of Section 26
and the NWJ of Section 259 both in Township 41 North Range Up
East of the Third Principal Meridian and lying between the South
line of Landmeier Road and the North line of the South } of said
NW} of Section 35, Cook County , Illinois.
2. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Village Clerk be and is
hereby directed to file for record in the Office of the Recorder of Deeds
of Cook County a certified copy of this ordinance with an accomparodmg plat
of vacation.
APPROVED and ADOPTED by the President and Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove Village, this 12th day of September, 1960.
