AN ORDINANCE amending an
Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance
pertaining to animals".
BE IT ORDAINED by the President aand Board of Trustees of
the Village of Elk Grove^ Village, Cook County, Illinois.
Section 1, That. Article 11 of an Ordinance entitled "An Ordinance
pertaining to animals (Ordinance No. 58) be and the same is hera:by
amended by adding thereto Section 1, 1 to read as follows:
Section 1, 1 Inoculation Certificate Before a
license is issued„ there shall be submitted to the Clerk
for e.namination, for each dog, a certificate of ,inoculation
against rabies, as defined by Illinois Revised Statutes„
1055, Chapter 8, Sections 23E to 23X (Rabies Control Act)
issued by the County Rabies Inspector, or by his deputy,
or by a licensed veterinarian. No license shall be issued
unless such certificate of inoculation bears a date showing
inoculation within one year prior to the date of application
for the license. Such certificate shall be returned to the
applicant.
Section Z. That this ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage, approval and publication according
to law.
